Return and Repair Policy

Returns & Exchanges

Because each piece is handcrafted in small batches, Coruscate Leather does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item arrives with a defect in craftsmanship, email us within 72 hours of delivery and include detailed photographs of the issue.

If the defect is reported within 72 hours, we will provide a prepaid shipping label and repair or replace the item at no cost, whichever we determine is most appropriate.

Defects reported after 72 hours are still covered under our craftsmanship guarantee, but the customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from our work shop.

Repairs

We stand behind our work and are committed to creating pieces meant to be loved for years to come.

Defects in craftsmanship reported within 72 hours of delivery will be repaired at no charge.

Failures in stitching or hardware within the first year will be repaired at no cost, but the customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from our work shop (see One-Year Craftsmanship Guarantee below for details).

This guarantee does not cover damage caused by:

  • Water exposure

  • Pets

  • Improper storage

  • Accidents

  • Normal wear beyond expected use

  • Misuse or neglect

Order Cancellations

Orders cannot typically be canceled once they have been placed.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged.

One-Year Craftsmanship Guarantee

Every Coruscate Leather piece is backed by a one-year craftsmanship guarantee covering stitching and hardware.

This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Water exposure

  • Pets

  • Improper care

  • Lack of maintenance

  • Accidents or misuse

Leather is a natural material and benefits from regular care. We recommend cleaning with leather soap and conditioning at least once a year for all non-suede, non-hair-on-hide leathers.
